Our Accounting team is growing and we are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join forces and help us deliver our goals. You will be responsible for supporting the Accounting team in the completeness of daily tasks and ensure accuracy by providing solutions.
What you’ll do:
- Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
- Prepare account reconciliations (fixed assets, banks’ balances & cash, accruals, payables, revenue, expenses & inter-company transactions)
- Reconcile customer and supplier balances
- Collect, analyze and summarize account information
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Analyze financial records and reports to ensure they are in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for statutory purposes
- Manage ad hoc financial requests across all departments
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
What you’ll need:
- BA in Accounting or similar field
- 1 - 3 years of proven accounting experience is a must - Big 4 experience will be considered an asset
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills
- Communication and organizational skills
- Team spirit and high sense of responsibility
- Flexibility and solution oriented
