ManpowerGroup on behalf of their client, a wholesale energy trade company active in Central and Southeastern Europe, is seeking an IFRS Accounting Specialist for their offices in Vrilissia, Attica
Scope
Reporting to the Managing Director, he/she will be responsible for ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and overseeing the accounting and financial reporting processes for the organization.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure compliance with IFRS accounting standards
• Oversee and manage the accounting and financial reporting processes
• Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends and issues
• Provide financial guidance and advice to management
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures
• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial reports
• Liaise with auditors and regulatory bodies as required
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required
• Be in close cooperation with other departments in the company
Requirements
• Professional accounting designation (e.g. CPA) is desired but not necessary
• 3-5 years of experience in IFRS accounting
• Strong understanding and extensive knowledge of IFRS accounting principles and standards
• Experience managing and overseeing accounting processes
• Knowledge of ERP system will be considered as a plus (Dynamics NAV Navision)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
