Assistant Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping for GL postings / Vendor Invoices / Fixed assets / Employee Expenses / Payments
• Handling of accounts payable
• Issue invoices to customers and external partners
• Responsible for bank accounts reconciliation
• Arrange payments of suppliers, employee expenses and company’s liabilities
• Responsible for liquidity reporting / forecasting
• Participate in “My Data” processes
• Take part in the process of Intrastat Reporting by preparing data for submission
• Record keeping and archiving of all signed contracts of the company
• Support in month end closing and year end closing
• Maintain archiving of digital and physical financial records
• Assist in annual audit by providing documents of financial transactions to auditors
• Support in the annual surveys reporting of Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) or IOBE
• Any other ad-hoc tasks requested by the CFO

Candidate Profile:

• BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
• At least 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting positions
• Proficient in English both written and spoken
• ERP knowledge (SAP knowledge will be highly appreciated)
• Excellence in Microsoft Office, especially in Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Analytical skills, comfort with numbers, critical thinking
• Well organized
• Reliable
