SEPTONA, one of the leading Greek companies in personal care operating in Greece and 70 countries globally, is seeking for a Cost Controller to join our Finance Department. The role reports to the Finance Manager and partners closely with the Manufacturing Director based in our Oinofyta (Viotia) HQs.. The role is responsible for providing clear, accurate and insightful cost analysis to identify savings and drive efficiencies.
Cost Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and perform month end close cost accounting transactions.
- Support monthly and annual budgeting processes for business.
- Analyze and explain variances of actual vs standard production costs.
- Understand product cost components to enable go to market strategies.
- Assist operations in finding cost effective solutions.
- Deliver monthly regular detailed cost reporting to Operations Director.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business-related field.
- 2+ years of Cost Accounting in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and Microsoft Office knowledge.
- Strong cost systems background and excellent analytical skills.
- Sound understanding of accounting.
- Ability to evaluate large amounts of data and present in clear and concise reporting to drive decision making.
