Responsibilities:

• Monitors and reconciles supplier balances and treasury accounts
• Reviews the timely posting of supplier invoices and updates the corresponding records
• Supports the maintenance of customer and supplier trial balances, as well as the submission of data to the Electronic Books
• Maintains corporate customer master data in the ERP system and issues invoices in accordance with company procedures
• Assists internal and external auditors by providing the required documentation
• Performs basic daily and periodic accounting tasks

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
• Master’s degree in Accounting will be considered an additional qualification
• Up to two (2) years of relevant experience in basic accounting tasks within a structured company or Group environment
• Experience in the Electrical Energy sector will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of financial transactions in the sector (electricity market) will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of SAP / ERP will be considered an additional qualification
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
