As part of our growth strategy, KPMG in Greece proudly announces the opportunity to become a key member in the Audit department. Due to continued growth of operations, we are seeking to recruit Experienced Professionals to join our Tax Compliance Assurance Team.

Your Role

As part of our Tax Assurance team, you will:

• Participate in the delivery of tax assurance services to a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Review accounting and tax records, leveraging innovative KPMG tools to extract, analyze, and assess data, and document your work in high‑quality deliverables (working papers).
• Contribute to the continuous development of the team by sharing insights, knowledge, and best practices.
• Perform tax audit procedures in line with KPMG’s Tax Assurance methodology.
• Develop expertise across the tax assurance framework, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT, Transfer Pricing, Real Estate, Digital Tax, and Withholding Tax.
• Build trusted relationships with clients through effective, empathetic, and professional communication.
• Stay informed on developments in tax legislation and accounting standards and assess their impact on clients.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for professionals who have:

• A university degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, IESOEL) and/or postgraduate studies (if any) will be considered an asset.
• At least 2 years of relevant client‑facing experience in Tax Assurance, Tax Compliance, Bookkeeping/Accounting, or Audit.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• A proactive mindset, enthusiasm for learning, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality professional services.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem‑solving abilities, and project management skills.
