ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, a leader Telecommunications vendor worldwide, providing reliable communications and great customer experiences, we are seeking

a Senior Accountant.

📌 Location: Metamorphosi, Athens

🖋️You will be reporting to: CEO CEO & Finance Director

What you will do:

• Ownership of monthly closing: trial balances / ledgers / journals, adjusting entries, accruals / prepayments
• Reconciliations: banks / loans / cards, customers (accounting ↔ commercial), suppliers (QC), negotiable instruments
• myDATA: discrepancy checks, full reconciliation with the tax authority (AADE)
• Posting of accounting documents
• Tax filings: VIES, payroll taxes (FMY), other withholding taxes, royalties tax
• Inventory / stock: reconciliation of purchases–sales, stocktaking
• Fixed assets / depreciation, fixed asset register
• Payroll (accounting treatment): posting payroll entries to the General Ledger, social security (IKA) checks, APD/FMY files (based on time tracking / leave inputs)
• Year-end pack, cooperation with auditors, financial statements, E3/N tax forms
• Guidance of accounting assistant, improvement of department procedures

What we are looking for:

• Graduate of a University (AEI/TEI) in Accounting or a related field
• At least 10 years of professional experience in a structured/company accounting department
• Holder of a Class A signing authority (license)
• Knowledge of the Chart of Accounts, Greek General Accounting Plan (E.G.L.S.), VAT, and the Code of Tax Transaction Documentation
• Experience with computer systems and software
• Excellent command of English
