Responsibilities:

• Monitors and reconciles supplier balances
• Posts and clears general ledger accounts
• Maintains the ERP corporate customer records and issues invoices
• Checks the proper capitalization of expenses as fixed assets
• Supports audits conducted by internal and external auditors
• Checks and ensures the timely posting of supplier invoices
• Monitors investment expenditures across all activities, ensures their recording in the fixed asset registry and oversees their gradual depreciation

 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree from a University or College or Technological Educational Institute in Management and Economics or Economics-related field
• Master's degree in Accounting will be considered an additional qualification
• At least two (2) years of relevant experience in structured accounting departments of a company or in an audit company, in areas related to the accounting monitoring of financial data
• Experience in the Energy sector will be considered an additional qualification
• Class A Certified Accountant-Tax Consultant license from the Economic Chamber of Greece
• Knowledge of the sector’s financial transactions (electricity market)
• Good knowledge of the application of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) will be considered an additional qualification
• Knowledge of SAP/ERP
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Internet
• Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact)
