Job Summary

Position title: Accountant

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team and support the smooth and compliant operation of the accounting function. The role involves active participation in financial processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with Greek statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal policies and Greek legislation.
• Perform General Ledger reconciliations and actively support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Review and process invoices, payments, and expenses in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prepare financial reports and support financial analysis to facilitate decision-making.
• Oversee electronic invoicing and ensure proper documentation and archiving of accounting records.
• Liaise with external partners, auditors, and authorities to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Participate in the preparation and submission of VAT and withholding tax returns.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to strengthening internal controls.

Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Greek tax and accounting regulations.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
