Overview

TITAN Greece has an excellent opportunity for an Accountant at our Head Office in Athens. This position reports to the Financial and Cost Accounting Supervisor. The primary purpose of this role is to support financial transactions in line with appropriate accounting procedures and to assist in the daily operations of the Accounting department.

Responsibilities

• Perform periodic account reconciliations and daily invoice reconciliations with vendors
• Prepare and maintain accounting files, reports, and data for financial reporting
• Post accounting entries
• Assist with data entry related to accounts payable, provisions, accruals, and other adjustments
• Perform other required accounting tasks

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting
• A Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting, or an ACCA certification, will be considered an additional asset
• 1-2 years of experience in a similar position in the financial sector of a large company or in an Audit or Consulting Services company
• Knowledge of Financial Accounting, IFRS and of Greek Accounting Standards will be considered an asset
• Experience with SAP will be considered an asset
• Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills
• Ability to prioritize effectively, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Fluency in both Greek and English (oral and written)
• Military Service fulfilled (if applicable)
