We are currently seeking for ambitious team players to become part of our dynamic Travel Expenses Management team within our Strategy Risk & Transactions Advisory department in Thessaloniki.

Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) Advisory
Strategy, Risk & Transactions (SR&T) is an end-to-end strategic advisory practice, enabling our C-suite clients to make informed, robust decisions and strategic choices. It integrates the full scale of Deloitte's M&A capabilities, consolidates Climate & Sustainability advisory capabilities, and tightens the connection between strategy development and risk management to assist clients with navigating uncertainty and change.

As a Consultant/Senior Consultant in our Travel Expense Management team within Strategy Risk & Transactions Advisory department, you will be: 
  • Working in regular direct contact with a globally operating client, supporting day to day coordination and gaining practical insight into international business travel expense processes. 
  • Handling individual client travel expense cases independently in SAP Concur, including gathering information, audit against internal and legal standards, analyzing issues and providing a decision of compliance. 
  • Responding to client inquiries, clarifying open questions (E-Mail and telephone) and providing reliable, solution oriented feedback. 
  • Taking responsibility for defined workstreams, managing smaller travel expense elements on your own and ensuring structured, accurate execution. 
  • Preparing clear and concise reporting for our internal management.
 
#OurRequirements
 
Key Qualifications 
  • Degree, preferably in BusinessFinanceEconomics or relevant field
  • For the Senior role: 2+ years of professional experience in the field of travel expense accounting
  • Have completed a commercial apprenticeship (e.g. industrial clerk, office clerk) or a comparable qualification (study with emphasis on controlling, accounting or finance).
  • 1+ year experience with the legal requirements for the accounting of travel expenses (e.g. tax and social security regulations, per diem rates) is a prerequisite
  • Experience in handling SAP Concur Expense is considered a plus
  • Strong command  of the English & German language
  • Analytical mindset with a structured approach and attention to detail
  • Excellent team player with clear and effective communication & negotiation skills
 
Bonus Qualifications 
  • Experience of SAP-FI/S4Hana
  • Experience in automated rule check
  • Experience in specific tax and currency requirements for foreign travel
