Income Auditor - Donkey Hotels

The Income Auditor is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all revenue transactions across the company's hotel portfolio. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong internal controls by auditing daily income reports, verifying financial data and identifying discrepancies. Working closely with the Finance and Operations teams, the Income Auditor supports compliance with company policies and contributes to effective and transparent financial management across all properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit daily revenue reports from various sources (POS, front desk, online bookings, etc.).
• Reconcile income records to general ledger and identify discrepancies.
• Review cash, credit card, and other payment transactions for accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Investigate and resolve revenue variances.
• Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation for management and auditors.
• Collaborate with accounting, sales, and operations teams to resolve issues.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Assist in improving revenue controls and audit procedures.
• Perform any other duty as assigned by the hotel.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in auditing, accounting, or income verification roles within the hospitality, retail, or multi-revenue stream environments will be considered a plus
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and the English language.
