ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of our client, a dynamically growing company that provides services in the fields of processing and trading of minerals and industrial materials, and the provision of transport services, both land and sea, is looking for a Senior Accountant.

📌 Location: Northern Athens, Attiki
🖋️You will be reporting to: CEO

What you will do:

• Supervision of the accuracy of accounting data to be recorded in the Commercial Management and General Accounting systems
• Maintenance and implementation of the company’s chart of accounts
• Design and revision of the Accounting Department’s procedures
• Ensuring the company’s compliance with current legislation on tax matters, MyData, and withholding taxes
• Support and supervision of the execution of accounting tasks
• Overseeing the closing of the books and the submission of the annual income tax return
• Coordination and supervision of the accounting department’s monthly audits

What we are looking for:

• Graduate of a University or Technological Institute (AEI/TEI) with a specialization in Accounting.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a structured/company accounting department.
• Holder of a Class A signing authority (A’ signature license).
• Knowledge of the Chart of Accounts, the Greek General Accounting Plan (E.G.L.S.), VAT, and the Code of Tax Recording of Transactions.
• Experience in team management.
• Experience with computer systems and software
• Excellent command of English
