Responsibilities
As an Audit Associate within our Audit practice, your role will involve the following tasks:
- Collaborate and actively engage with other audit team members to gain a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ business and expectations.
- Complete assigned tasks and deliverables to a high-quality standard as part of client engagements – working to an agreed plan, budget, and quality.
- Perform required audit procedures to obtain sufficient audit evidence over certain areas of the audit with a focus on quality and in accordance with applicable auditing standards.
- Keep senior team members informed of significant developments and progress on the engagement.
- Work on professional development to maintain status and accreditation undertaking all mandatory and regulatory training as required by the due date.
- Keep up to date with technical developments in audit quality, audit, and accounting standards, and comply with the latest quality directives.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidates are creative spirits and natural team players with quality focus. The appointed candidates will be actively involved in challenging projects, delivering impact while inspiring trust in their dealings with colleagues and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business, or relative subjects.
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration will be considered an asset.
- Professional Qualifications in progress or completed could provide a distinct advantage.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
- Team working approach coupled with analytical thinking ability and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn through a positive attitude and to provide quality professional work.
