Recruitment Services team | Kariera Group is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant on behalf of a client, a leading organized veterinary care group in Greece.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation (VAT, payroll taxes, withholding taxes, etc.)

• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings

• Support the preparation and submission of corporate income tax returns

• Assist during tax audits and liaise with tax authorities

• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company

• Collaborate with external tax advisors and statutory auditors

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes (tax provisions, deferred tax calculations)

• Participate in tax process improvements and internal control initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounting with a strong focus on taxation

• Solid knowledge of Greek tax and accounting legislation

• Experience in a corporate environment and/or audit/tax advisory firm

• Very good command of English (written and spoken)

• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience with ERP systems

• Strong analytical skills

• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadline
