We are now seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team and ensure timely, accurate, and compliant processing of supplier invoices and payments.

Role Overview

The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage supplier invoices, payments, and related financial processes. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency, collaborating closely with colleagues across the organization. This is a key role in supporting EPE’s financial integrity and operational success.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Payable Processing

• Review, verify, and process supplier invoices accurately and on time.
• Prepare and execute supplier payments (bank transfers, checks, etc.).
• Ensure proper approval and supporting documentation for all payments.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Control & Reporting

• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Maintain accurate records and support internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and relevant regulations.

Vendor & Internal Collaboration

• Serve as primary point of contact for supplier inquiries regarding payments.
• Work closely with Procurement, Logistics, and other departments to verify invoices.
• Build strong working relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and enhance efficiency.
• Support implementation of ERP/finance system improvements related to AP.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1- 3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or general finance operations.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership of tasks.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, responsible, and solution-oriented mindset.
