Our Accounting & Finance Division is growing, and we are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at our Headquarters in Marousi, Athens. The role reports to the Accounting Manager and will primarily support the accounting operations of our Toyota Autodirect branches. This position involves close collaboration and regular communication with the Head of Toyota Autodirect Division and the Store Managers, ensuring smooth financial processes across all locations.
Key responsibilities
- Issue and verify customer invoices and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Monitor and reconcile accounts receivable and payable balances
- Review and record invoices for expenses
- Prepare and post journal entries including accruals, prepayments and adjustments
- Handle fixed assets acquisitions, disposals and depreciation
- Monitor and reconcile warehouse stock levels, identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Perform my data reconciliation
- Monitor and execute daily banking transactions reconciling bank statements
- Liaise with auditors and tax advisors
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in large retail organizations, ideally within the automotive or motorcycle industry
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent command of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- A team player with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
