ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a well-established and fast-growing company operating in the construction sector, is seeking an Accounting Assistant for maternity cover. The role is offered on a 15-month fixed-term contract, with flexibility and potential for renewal, depending on business needs and performance.
📌 Location: Papagou (Cholargos), Athens
Work Schedule: 09:00 – 17:00, Monday – Friday
📜 Contract: 15-Month fixed-term Contract with possibility of extension
Your Responsibilities:
- Entry of commercial and accounting documents (invoices, expenses, receipts) into the company’s ERP system (SoftOne)
- Support of payroll accounting processes
- Reconciliation of supplier balances and follow-up on outstanding amounts
- Handling day-to-day accounting tasks and ad hoc accounting support
- Filing, organizing, and maintaining accounting documentation
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
- Hands-on experience in an accounting role is required (Junior to Mid-level profiles are welcome)
- Mandatory experience with ERP systems, ideally SoftOne
- Previous experience or exposure to the construction sector will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken) and native-level Greek
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
