Let’s start with the role 

As an Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for leading the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong compliance, and continuous process improvement across multiple entities. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead and mentor a team of 4 accountants to deliver accurate, on-time bookkeeping, financial close and reporting.
• Oversee the Record-to-Report (R2R) process across all group entities, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Manage statutory reporting, local audits, VAT and tax compliance across multiple entities.
• Maintain strong intercompany accounting and alignment with transfer pricing policies.
• Preparation and management of group consolidation.
• Participate in hiring, training and performance reviews of team members.
• Participate in the implementation process of the ERP system.
• Work closely with the Treasury and FP&A teams to ensure accurate and timely periodic reporting.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Prepare and deliver clear, professional financial presentations for senior leadership.

Requirements 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) will be considered an asset.
• Experience in accounting/finance roles at a managerial level with a strong technical foundation.
• Strong capability in handling complex accounting issues, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong interdepartmental relationships.
• Full professional fluency (written and verbal) in English.
