We are looking for an ambitious Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department.
You will need to have a solid operational and technical accounting background and work proactively to drive results. Our main mission is to support accounting and financial department in order to ensure the accuracy and the completeness of financial data Provide solutions in tax accounting and financial issues. Contribute ideas for improvement in both daily procedures and in long-term goals, too.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain the accounting books & records
- Be responsible for the chart of accounts, control reconciliations & monthly provisions
- Analyze financial records and reports to ensure they are in accordance with local Generally Accepted Accounting Principles for statutory purposes or IFRS
- Coordinate with external tax consultants to ensure compliance with accounting, tax and other statutory requirements
- Participate in year- end audit procedures or tax audits
- Manage ad hoc financial requests across all departments
- Propose process improvements to improve efficiency
- Recommend modifications to accounting systems
- Participate in financial standards setting
- Provide coaching and training to the Accounting Team, encouraging results orientation, initiative and team work
- Support other organizational team members with financial knowledge when needed
What you’ll need:
- BA in Accounting or similar field
- 3 - 5 years of proven accounting experience is a must - Big 4 experience will be considered an asset
- Completion or final stage participation in a relevant professional qualification (ACCA, ACA) will be highly regarded
- Computer literacy with Advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent communicational and organizational skills
- Team spirit and high sense of responsibility
- Flexibility and ability to solve problems
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Good sense of responsibility and commitment to confidentiality

- Able to perform under pressure and deliver results in a demanding and fast-paced environment that requires fresh thinking, innovation and dedication
