Job Description – Experienced Accountant/ Assistant Manager

The Experienced Accountant / Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of both local and international clients, either independently or as part of a team. This role involves overseeing accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with tax and regulatory requirements, and consistently delivering high-quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations, supporting the monthly financial close process.
• Maintain and update accounting records in SAP.
• Assist in the preparation of the monthly reporting package.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with various stakeholders engaged by the client.
• Ensure all journal entries are accurate, timely, and properly supported.
• Liaise with and report directly to the Accounting and Tax Manager.
• Deliver high-quality client service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Prepare ad hoc financial reports and analyses as required.
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and business ethics.

Qualifications & Skills

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and fluency in English (both written and spoken) are essential.
• ACCA qualification (or similar professional accreditation) will be considered a strong plus.
• Proficiency in SAP and Excel.
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or controlling, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining the highest professional standards.
