Job Description

• Invoice Review: Review OA reimbursement processes to ensure compliance with the company’s financial management policies, Greek tax regulations, and accounting standards.
• Accounting Document Management: Collect, organize, and forward accounting documents to the external accounting firm.
• Accounting Verification: Obtain Journal Ledger and Trial Balance details monthly from the accounting firm and verify their accuracy.
• Accounts Receivable Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts receivable with customers quarterly to confirm accuracy.
• Accounts Receivable Collection: Record customer payments and communicate with customers to arrange payment plans for overdue accounts.
• Tax Declaration Review: Review quarterly VAT, withholding tax (if applicable), and annual corporate income tax declarations; initiate and process related tax payments.
• Audit Coordination: Communicate with independent auditors, provide required information, and respond to audit queries.
• Banking Operations: Manage issuance and release of guarantees, bank account openings/closures, and credit facilities.
• Local Invoicing: Issue local invoices and review invoice data on the company’s invoicing platform.
• Other Duties: Undertake tasks assigned by supervisors, handle ad hoc matters, and support the finance team as needed.

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting or Finance with at least 2 years of experience in financial accounting and cash/treasury management.
• Solid knowledge of Greek accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Familiarity with widely used financial/accounting software in Greece; experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong command of English, both written and spoken.
