About the role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing complex accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making through insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the efficient handling of the Company accounting system.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements and bank balances.
• Prepare and issue invoices for payments.
• Assist the CFO with the Management reports, budgets and any other reporting requirements.
• Checks the preparation for accounts and of audited financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and corporate requirements.
• Identify development and training needs for team members.

Qualifications & Experience

• Academic degree in Economics/Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification will be considered an advantage (e.g. ACA, ACCA)
• 5+ years of Accounting experience.
• Fluency in Greek and English.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Advanced Computer literacy.
