Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A., a leading group of companies in the maritime travel arrangements sector, is currently seeking an Accountant to strengthen our team. The job location is in Alimos, Athens.

About the Position:
As an Accountant for our company in the yachting industry, you will play a central role in the smooth operation of our accounting department. You will be responsible for managing accounting and tax-related matters, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of all relevant declarations, in accordance with the current legal framework.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounting Management & Reconciliations

• Maintaining and managing double-entry books (revenues, expenses, suppliers, rents, etc.).
• Reconciling expenses and classifying them through the MyData platform to ensure proper representation of income tax (E3).
• Managing fixed assets (purchases, sales, depreciation).

Tax Compliance

• Preparing and submitting monthly and annual tax declarations (VAT, VIES, Intrastat).
• Updating contractual statements, including charter agreements.
• Calculating and submitting withheld taxes and payroll tax (FMY).

Desired Qualifications:

• A degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Professional experience in an accounting department, ideally in a maritime or tourism company.
• Excellent knowledge of tax legislation, with a focus on issues related to recreational yachts.
• Familiarity with the Taxis, MyData, VIES, and Intrastat platforms.
• Organizational skills, responsibility, and strong attention to detail.
