Kiriacoulis Mediterranean Cruises Shipping S.A., a leading group of companies in the maritime travel arrangements sector, is currently seeking an Accountant to strengthen our team. The job location is in Alimos, Athens.

About the Position:
As an Accountant for our company in the yachting industry, you will play a central role in the smooth operation of our accounting department. You will be responsible for managing accounting and tax-related matters, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of all relevant declarations, in accordance with the current legal framework.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Accounting Management & Reconciliations

• Maintaining and managing double-entry books (revenues, expenses, suppliers, rents, etc.).
• Posting revenue and expenses invoices in the ERP program, in compliance with local and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Reconciling General Ledger accounts, as well as customers’/suppliers’
  balances.
• Managing fixed assets (purchases, sales, depreciation).

Tax Compliance & Filings

• Preparing and submitting monthly and annual tax declarations (VAT, VIES, Intrastat).
• Reconciling expenses and classifying them through the MyData platform to ensure proper representation of income tax (E3).
• Updating contractual statements, including charter agreements.
• Calculating and submitting withheld taxes and payroll tax (FMY)

Desired Qualifications:

• A degree in Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
• Mandatory possession of a Class A Accountant - Tax Consultant License
  from the Economic Chamber of Greece (OEE).
• Professional experience of at least 4 years in an organized accounting
  department, ideally in a maritime or tourism company.
• Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of Greek Tax Legislation, with a focus on issues related to recreational yachts.
• Proven experience and excellent familiarity with the Taxis, MyData, VIES, and Intrastat platforms.
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) is
  considered a strong advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and ERP software.
• Excellent knowledge of the English language (written and oral).
• Organizational skills, a high sense of responsibility, and strong attention to detail.
