ICAP Recruitment Solutions on behalf of a well-established and financially robust Greek Commercial company with leading status in its industry and strong international activity, is seeking an experienced and driven Accountant.

Accountant (6007/AC/RS/GR)

Role Profile:
This is a role for a driven, eager to learn and grow Accountant, with 3 to 5 years of experience in a structured accounting department, with systems and processes that encourage efficiency and automation.

Responsibilities:
•    Monitoring cash and daily banking transactions, including e-banking activities.
•    Process and record expense invoices and maintain up-to-date bookkeeping.
•    Reconcile customer and supplier accounts, collaborating to resolve discrepancies.
•    Support month-end closing with journal entries and reporting tasks.
•    Rotate across all accounting functions to gain a full understanding of the department and enhance his/her experience.
•    Collaborate closely with the accounting team and contribute ideas and initiatives for continuous process improvements and automation.

Qualifications:
•    3–5 years of relevant accounting experience in an organized accounting department.
•    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
•    Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
•    Proactive attitude, curiosity, and willingness to learn across all accounting functions.
•    Enjoys collaborating with others, proposing new ideas and driving continuous improvement.
•    Proficiency in accounting software.
•    Very good command of English.
