Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Accountant to support our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and monitor accounting journal entries.
• Reconcile bank account balances with accounting records.
• Prepare payment orders and submit them to the Chief Accountant.
• Handle and record expense reimbursements.
• Manage documentation related to contracts, service orders, purchase orders, and suppliers.
• Assist in invoice processing and vendor payments.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents.
• Support monthly and annual closing procedures.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate cost allocations.
• Assist with audits and provide requested documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounting or book keeping (preferably in a corporate or concessionaire environment).
• Familiarity with accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good communication skills in Greek and English.
