Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations
• Perform accurate booking of expenses and transactions in line with Greek GAAP.
• Issue and process sales and purchase invoices.
• Record payments, bank reconciliations, and petty cash movements.
• Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Contribute to management and financial reporting with timely and accurate data.
• Analyze variances and provide explanations for key financial metrics.
• Corporate & Compliance Support
• Maintain and organize corporate documents, including minutes of directors’ and shareholders’ meetings, amendments to articles of association, and other registry filings.
• Prepare corporate documents such as minutes and updated articles of association as required.
• Use the AADE Taxis website and Business Registry platforms for tasks such as filings, updates, and compliance actions.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure accounting practices adhere to local tax laws and statutory regulations.
• Support audit preparations and respond to auditor queries.
• Knowledge of IFRS is a strong plus; assist in aligning company practices with IFRS standards when applicable.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.

For Mid level: 3-5 years of accounting experience.
For Senior level: 5+ years of experience in similar positions, preferably in construction or energy industries.
Strong knowledge of Greek accounting principles (Greek GAAP); IFRS knowledge is a significant plus.
Excellent computing skills, including:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word),
• Experience with ERP systems (Soft1 or similar).
• Strong English and Greek communication skills, both written and oral.
