Job Purpose: The Treasury Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's cash flow and banking activities, ensuring financial liquidity, and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
Responsibilities/Results
The job holder:
- Monitors and reconciliates daily the bank transactions through SAP to ensure accurate recording of bank entries
- Communicates and collaborates directly with banking institutions. Manages day-to-day transactional relationship with banks ensuring that payments are correctly processed
- Monitors bank commissions and interests, and addresses quality issues
- Plans and manages the company’s financial liquidity
- Participates in budgeting processes and financial planning
- Delivers a detailed reporting on the usage and allocation of company funds
- Ensures compliance with the Financial Guidelines, Policies & Procedures defined by Corporate Treasury; Recommend, implement and maintain process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master’s is a plus
- Minimum 5 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of SAP
- Excellent understanding of banking systems, cash flow management, liquidity planning, and budgeting
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with financial institutions
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
