We invite applications from ambitious, high caliber and hard-working professionals to join our Athens office in the position of Audit Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively allocate tasks and projects to teams and individual members, ensuring a balanced workload and clear distribution of responsibilities.
• Provide guidance and support to ensure efficient task execution and successful project delivery.
• Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring the delivery of exceptional audit services that meet client expectations and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with Audit Directors to define engagement strategies and objectives, conduct risk assessments, and lead audit teams to execute the agreed plan effectively and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with client management, offering value-added recommendations and insights to support business growth and success.
• Identify and generate new business opportunities, contributing to the firm's growth and expanding its client base.
• Recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical developments, analyzing their impact on clients and advising them accordingly.
• Lead by example, mentoring and developing engagement team members, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a positive and productive working environment.
• Utilize expertise in audit methodologies and industry standards to perform engagements in compliance with firm policies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in any field
• A Master’s degree in Accounting & Finance, or a related field, will be considered an advantage
• Holder of or actively working towards completing a related professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, SOEL)
• A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in the Audit department of a leading audit firm
• Strong knowledge of accounting frameworks (IFRS, Greek GAAP) and financial reporting matters
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, offering value-added insights and recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English, with the ability to present complex information clearly to clients and stakeholders
• Computer literacy
