Join our dynamic team at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS as a Financial Controller and play a crucial role in supporting the financial and controlling activities of the Group internationally. Working along with a team, you will provide valuable support and monitoring the preparation of financial statements of international companies that adhere to regulatory and accounting guidelines. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the company’s accounting and financial processes meet established standards, promoting accurate financial reporting and effective control. What you'll do:
- Supporting and reviewing correct bookkeeping on a monthly basis;
- Monitoring month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data (review of TB, GL, BS);
- Responsible for the preparation of financial statements in compliance with official international guidelines and requirements;
- Liaising with external auditors and leading the finalization of the annual statutory audits of the group’s companies internationally;
- Supporting and reviewing most aspects of accounting management (invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting etc.);
- Reviewing the company’s accounting information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances;
- Preparation and review of the monthly internal reporting;
- Reviewing of monthly intra-company obligations;
- Monitoring ERP system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
- 5-7 years of relevant professional experience – ideally in a multinational environment; Prior experience in an IT company will be considered as an asset;
- Excellent command of English both written and oral; Second language will be considered as an asset;
- Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations;
- Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
- Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. Navision, SAP etc);
- Excellent communication and presentation skills;
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
