Credit Control Officer – Athens

A leading pharmaceutical company, committed to operational excellence and financial integrity, is seeking a Credit Control Officer to join our Finance team.

We are looking for a reliable and analytical Credit Control professional who will ensure timely payments from customers, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Target Departments: Finance, Sales, Commercial Operations
Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities

• Monitor customer accounts and ensure timely collection of payments
  • Issue payment reminders and follow up on overdue balances
  • Communicate effectively with clients to resolve disputes and ensure smooth cash flow
  • Reconcile customer statements and process account adjustments
  • Support credit evaluations and risk analysis processes
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales and Accounting to align on credit policies
  • Assist in improving credit control procedures and reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (essential)
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar Credit Control or Accounting role
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SoftOne)
  • Excellent Excel skills and ability to analyze data
  • Strong written and verbal communication in Greek and English
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Strong negotiation skills and problem-solving mindset
  • Proactive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Organized and process-driven approach
