We are currently seeking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting Department.
Your Role
The Assistant Accountant will be responsible for invoice processing, accounts payable/receivable and/or credit & collections. Furthermore, the jobholder will be involved in financial statement preparation, maintaining accounting records, and reconciling accounts. Finally, the jobholder will be accountable for ensuring compliance with financial transaction recording standards e.g., general ledger, cash payments/collections, tax transactions, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field will be considered as a prerequisite
- Prior experience in the travel & tourism industry is a plus
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably Panasoft)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek and English
