Position: Accounting Manager

Scope:

• Ensuring the proper and smooth operation of the accounting department, through the organization and supervision of all relevant procedures.
• Adherence to tax and accounting legislation, ensuring full compliance.
• Monitoring the execution of all accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with legal provisions and ensuring continuous training and guidance of the team.
• Conduct monthly agreements of all regional ERP systems (purchases, sales, analytical accounting, fixed assets register, payroll, VAT, etc.) and check the correct submission of data to the myDATA system.
• Preparation and timely submission of all company tax returns, ensuring timely payment where required.
• Review and control of payment statements, ensuring their correctness.
• Controlling the process of completing accounting records for the extraction of monthly and annual results, preparation of financial statements and ensuring their timely submission.
• Supervise, guide and train the accounting team, ensuring its development and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related subject. A relevant Master's degree will be considered ass an asset.
• At least 8 years of experience in an accounting department, of which at least 3 were in a position of responsibility
• License to practice the profession of Accountant A' class
• Excellent knowledge of tax and commercial legislation
• Very good knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office
• Good knowledge of English
• Strong managerial skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Effective time and priority management.
• Methodical with attention to detail.
