Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Data reconciliation
- Review and correction of entries
- Monthly and year-end checklist
- USALI
- Cash flow management
- Preparation of budget vs. actual reports, with the ability to identify discrepancies
- Tax obligations
- E9-SRET
- Review and reconciliation of social insurance obligations
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP (knowledge of IFRS is a plus)
- Assistance with tax audits and tax returns
- Assistance with statutory audits
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of Greek GAAP and tax legislation
- Familiarity with Hospitality Programs (Opera experience preferred)
- Knowledge and participation in program integration
- Proven experience as a senior accountant
- Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures
- In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Awareness of business trends
- Familiarity with financial statements
- Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
- Hands-on experience with accounting software packages
- Advanced MS Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
