We are currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Astir Palace Vouliagmenis Team!
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs key general ledger accounts reconciliations, reviews accrual postings and performs monthly variance analysis of expenses and revenues to ensure that accounting ledgers are complete and accurate.
- Performs month-end closing activities (reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger).
- Ensures My Data and tax law compliance.
- Executes any other tasks related to the duties of the position as required.
- Supports with all the tax compliance activities: direct taxes (CIT, Transfer pricing, WHT), indirect taxes (VAT, Intrastat, Listing, etc).
- Handles warehouse report & assets registry.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- Previous experience as an accountant of at least 4 years.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and accounting expertise.
- Excellent command of English language.
- Excellent knowledge of computer systems, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment/meeting deadline.
- Multitasking and problem solving.
- Willingness for continuous learning and development.
- Critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
