We are looking for a Junior Accountant
Role
As part of a highly motivated team your main role is to perform accounting transactions accurately through timely preparation of journal entries & account reconciliations, under general supervision. Understanding and application of billing/revenue and cost accounting processes and practices.
Main responsibilities & duties
- Day to day maintenance of an accurate ledger
- Suppliers’ & general offices expenses’ invoices entry
- Research and resolution of discrepancies and issues
- Suppliers’ reconciliation (outstanding balances & payment schedule)
- Preparation of ad hoc reports and analysis & special comparative reports, as requested
Minimum Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
- Previous experience in similar capacity in Travel industry will be highly appreciated
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills, in Greek and English language
- Good interpersonal skills
- PC Literacy (Word, Excel)
- Work ethic to help maintain and promote team morale
- Results-driven personality, with energy, commitment and a passion for learning and development
- Creative thinking, problem solving with ability to meet and maintain required performance standards
- Co-operation with a high degree of independence within agreed policies and targets
