As a Junior Accountant, your main duty will involve aiding in the preparation and analysis of financial statements following International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Collaborating closely with experienced senior accountants and finance professionals, you'll play a vital role in guaranteeing the precision and adherence to financial reporting standards. This position necessitates a solid grasp of accounting fundamentals, meticulous attention to particulars,proficiency in operating within navigating a dynamic work setting.
Key Responsibilities:
· Collaborates in preparing financial statements monthly, quarterly, and annually.
· Offers assistance during month-end and year-end closing procedures, including journal entry preparation and reconciliations.
· Conducts thorough research on accounting matters and offers recommendations in line with IFRS principles.
· Aids in the smooth integration of new accounting standards and revisions to current standards.
· Generates thorough schedules and documentation for internal and external audits.
· Provides assistance for ad-hoc financial projects and initiatives as required
Qualifications & Skills:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field of study
· Experience in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
· 2 years of prior experience in roles within accounting or finance, ideally within audit firms
· Knowledge of SAP or comparable ERP software
· Effective organizational abilities, including adept task prioritization and meeting deadlines
