Accounting Manager
Key Responsibilities:
• Management of the company's accounting cycle (billing, payments, collections, payroll, general accounting, and taxation).
• Management and supervision of the accounting team.
• Preparation and analysis of financial statements according to current accounting standards.
• Preparation of budgets, financial forecasts, and reports for management.
• Compliance with local, national, and international accounting and tax laws.
• Collaboration with auditing bodies for annual audits.
• Optimization of accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Management of cash flows and monitoring of expenses.
Qualifications for the position:
• Graduate of a University/College in Economics or Accounting.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position within the shipping sector is a must.
•Holder of a Class A Accountant's signature.
• Knowledge of Greek Accounting and Tax Law, Labor laws, and payroll at a high level.
• Familiarity with ERP software, preferably Entersoft.
• Knowledge of payroll software, preferably Pylon.
• Good command of the English language.
• Leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
