Kariera's Hiring Solutions team is looking on behalf of a client, a fast-growing group of luxury resorts, Senior Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for performing monthly/annual closure cut-off procedures and ensure monthly Trial Balance completeness, accuracy, timeliness
• Participate in projects & other continuous improvement/transformation initiatives
• Lead accounting operational teams
• Prepare and submit accounting entries and postings of invoices that need special treatment (PPE entries, depreciation, accruals & provisions, payroll, etc)
• Perform accounting reconciliations
• Review & correct accounting entries
• Review & investigate vendors' debit balances
• Ad-hoc requests that may arise from management
• Support year-end audit by coordinating with auditors

Requirements:

• University degree in Accounting or Finance
• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant and Team Leader for 1-3 years
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of taxation (VAT issues, Income tax and withholding taxes)
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
• A professional qualification (ACCA or IESOEL) would be a plus
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in IFRS would be a plus
• Very good knowledge of Entersoft ERP would be a plus
• Spanish Language would be a plus
