We are seeking to hire Senior a Accountant  

Key Responsibilities

Operations in the accounting department of Olympios Group’s companies in compliance with statutory standards and company’s policies and procedures

• Apply accounting methods, policies, and principles in day-to-day transactions according to Greek Standards
• Monitor cost accounting, inventory, account receivables and fixed asset accounts
• Ensures timely and robust reconciliations to provide correct monthly/annual financial data
• Implement the current tax legislation and ensure the accuracy of TAX requirements
• Support month-end and year-end accounting closing activities
• Perform periodical and ad hoc analysis as requested
• Suggests Improvements of procedures and implement corrective actions

Candidate Profile

• University Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline preferable in relevant industries
• At least 5 years of professional experience in senior Accounting roles
• A' class signatory right will be an asset
• Demonstrated knowledge of Greek taxation
• Knowledge of IFRS,  Code of Books and Records and tax related issues
• Fluent in English
• Computer literate and familiar with ERP systems
• Strong organizing skills and coordination ability
• Very good communication and problem solving skills
• Analytical, numerical skills and attention to detail
• Business acumen and strategic orientation
• Team player and good interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
