Keen to further empower our team by onboarding more talent, we are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Maintenance Department in Neo Olvio, Xanthi. The role is responsible for the organization, control and supervision of electrical maintenance processes, the effective supervision of permanent and sub-contracted technical staff to achieve a high performance of machine reliability through effective preventive and immediate maintenance operations.
Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:
- Coach and supervise/support permanent and sub-contracted electrical maintenance technical staff prior to commencement and during restoration work, repairs, scheduled maintenance as well as new installations
- Immediate intervention in cases of damages that require immediate restoration
- Participate in daily and weekly meetings related to incident analysis, evaluation of maintenance work, maintenance orders, inspection reports, work planning, and technical analyzes and reports
- Implement and monitor the maintenance orders in SAP, problem notifications (notification system) as well as maintenance history management
- Conduct performance reviews and define training needs to enhance employee’s development
- Ensure compliance with EHS procedures as well as company’s quality standards
- Monitor maintenance and inspection plans
- Design, control, and implement electrical systems
- Manage electrical engineering projects and deliver them on time
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with production needs and safety standards
- Examine needs on new equipment, calculate costs and help prepare budgets
Job requirements
- BSc in Electrical Engineering. MSc is a plus
- 2-4 years of working experience as Electrical Engineer in industrial/ manufacturing environment
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer with Hands-on experience
- Excellent MS Office and English & Greek knowledge
- Experience in managing a team of permanent and sub-contracted technical staff
- Experience in supervising electrical maintenance work, major repairs and restorations of E/M machinery
- Κnowledge of ERP (preferably SAP)
- Sound knowledge of electrical manufacturing processes
- Excellent organizational, communication and time management skills
- Strong multi-tasking, decision-making and problem-solving skills
