You will be assisting with the installation and configuration of embedded apps on rugged field tablets, support and train field engineers, and help install and troubleshoot antennas and custom hardware. You will also participate in handling RMA processes for faulty equipment and collaborate with the broader technical team to ensure smooth project execution.
Responsibilities:
- Configure, install, and test embedded applications on tablets used for fieldwork. Also, you will be configuring antennas to communicate via BLE with the tablet, to be able to perform such tasks.
- Support and train field engineers in the use of hardware and software tools. Perform functions alongside them when needed.
- Participate in field deployments of IoT Gateways/Antennas and associated electronics. Assist in installation of such devices.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for hardware issues in the field.
- Manage RMA processes: initial diagnosis, communication with manufacturers, and logistics.
- Document procedures and maintain field installation standards.
- Collaborate with technical and software teams to ensure seamless system integration.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Electronics / Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware support, embedded systems, or field engineering.
- Hands-on experience with electronics, wiring, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with Windows + Android ecosystem for tablets, embedded applications, and serial/network communication.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to train and support non-technical users.
- Driver’s license and willingness to travel for field work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with LoRaWAN, antennas, or RF electronics.
- Familiarity with BLE, LTE communication.
- Experience handling field equipment logistics or procurement.
