Skybay Hospitality Group, owner of 5-star Sandblu resort ( sandblu,com ), is opening a new

restaurant Blu in the most iconic location in Santorini.

 

Blu is where the essence of the Aegean meets global culinary explorations.  Immersed in

Santorini’s most iconic location, a place to savor, celebrate, and connect with the beauty and

flavors of the world. 

  

Perched on the majestic cliffs of Imerovigli, Blu is a high-end fusion restaurant deeply rooted

in the spirit of the Aegean, yet inspired by the world itself. Here, tradition and innovation blend

seamlessly to create an extraordinary culinary journey.

 

Beyond the exquisite plates, Blu brings extraordinarily easy access to guests from all parts of

Santorini, breathtaking panoramic views of the caldera and Aegean Sea , an elegant

ambiance designed by the renowned New-York based Rockwell (www.rockwellgroup.com),

stunning Santorini sunsets, and a resident DJ blending the perfect sounds with soulful food

and iconic views.

Sandblu Resort, Santorini, is currently in search of Chef De Partie.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food
  • preparation and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook dishes according to the resort’s recipes and standards.
  • Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring they adhere to established
  • procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies to ensure availability of
  •  
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen staff to develop new menu items
  • and specials.
  • Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and a positive
  •  
  • Assist with the planning and execution of special events and banquets.
  • Maintain accurate records of food production and wastage.
  • Qualifications / Experience
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within the hospitality
  • industry (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation.

 

  • A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering exceptional food quality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks with ease.
  • Fluency in English.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
