PeopleCert is looking for a visionary Head of Brand & Strategic Communications to lead our brand narrative, corporate communications, and thought leadership initiatives. We are looking for a senior, strategic, and impact-driven leader to head our Brand & Strategic Communications team.


As Head of Brand & Strategic Communications your tasks will be the following:

  • Own the development and consistent delivery of the company’s brand identity, positioning, and voice across all touchpoints.
  • Drive purpose-driven brand campaigns that build awareness, equity, and engagement.
  • Craft and manage a compelling corporate narrative aligned with the company’s vision and values.
  • Oversee PR, reputation management, crisis communication, and media relations to protect and elevate brand perception.
  • ·Partner cross-functionally with different divisions to integrate brand strategy company-wide.
  • Set clear KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize brand initiatives and campaign effectiveness.

 

What we look for:

 

  • Master’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 12+ years of experience in brand, corporate communications, or PR, with proven leadership experience.
  • Proven experience in brand development and communications leadership, preferably in a fast-paced or high-growth environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired, LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus) Extra languages desired.
  • Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
  • Additional experience in journalism is considered a plus.
  • Strong strategic thinking, cross-functional collaboration, and impact orientation.
  • Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing communications around sensitive or high-impact issues.
  • Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

Working on Home Office (HO) Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)

Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to PeopleCert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

  • A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
  • HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC)
  • Financial background check
  • Employment reference check.
  • If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
