Howden Hellas is growing, and we are looking for an Assistant Analyst to join our team.
Position: ASSISTANT ANALYST
Location: Athens (on site)
Role Summary:
The successful candidate will support our team in monitoring and analyzing the performance of the insurance portfolio. Working closely with senior team members and other analytics teams, they will help transform data into actionable insights that contribute to informed decision-making and effective portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in tracking the allocation of the insurance portfolio across companies and lines of business.
- Support the analysis of performance against budget and production targets. Monthly monitoring.
- Preparing regular reports on insurance company performance, including production, loss ratios, and claims data.
- Contribute to identifying potential issues and areas of opportunity within the portfolio.
- Support the preparation of reporting for internal use and Group Howden Markets.
- Assist with analysis related to client concentration, segment trends, and portfolio structure.
- Organize profitability reviews by client, broker, and line of business.
- Gather and organize data on volume across brokers and Claims dpt.
- Tracking performance incentives and bonus metrics tied to portfolio results.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, or a related field (or in progress).
- Internship or entry-level experience in insurance, data analytics, or financial reporting is a plus.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of Excel; PowerPoint, familiarity with Power BI or similar tools is an advantage.
- Eagerness to learn and communicate data-driven insights clearly.
- Organized, proactive, and capable of supporting multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluent in Greek and English (written and spoken).
