Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Analog IC Design Engineer where you will be contributing in the design and development of the next generation of highly integrated RF ICs using Cadence tools in deep sub-micron CMOS processes. You will use your skills as an Integrated Circuit designer to support exciting and new projects. You will handle complex engineering assignments in collaboration with local and remote RF, HW, System and Test Engineering teams.

Your Responsibilities
  • Specify and design Analog and RF circuit blocks such as LNAs and Mixers, Frequency Synthesizers (PLLs), Filters, Bandgap, LDO, Power management, DAC and ADC circuits etc.
  • Integration of these analog circuits with both RF and digital circuits
  • Low voltage and low power CMOS design techniques in nanometer technologies are emphasized
  • Full custom layout and physical verification
  • Design report writing
  • Design of test plans for these circuits both in lab and at final test
  • Radio and Analog/RF block lab characterization
Your skills, experience and requirements
  • Degree qualified in Electrical, Electronics or Communications Engineering, Applied Physics or equivalent experience
  • 5 years of working experience in analog IC design
  • Expertise in the latest analog CAD flows for CMOS technologies
  • Understanding of analog circuit design techniques, simulator options and capabilities, and IC layout design techniques and verification methodologies
  • Experience of following areas: Filters (continuous and discrete-time), Bandgap Reference, LNAs and Mixers, Frequency Synthesizers (PLLs), LDO, DAC and ADC circuits etc.
  • Knowledge of modelling and design of a broad range of analog circuits using Verilog-A and/or AMS
  • Experience of carrying out analog block characterization in the lab. Automated test experience an advantage
  • Understanding of product life cycle of an analog/RFIC from specification to production
  • You should be a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and with other engineers distributed across several locations
  • Fluent in English writing and speaking
  • EU-citizen or holder of a work permit for Greece

  • Familiarity with 65nm/28nm/22nm CMOS processes
  • Automated lab test experience (using Python)
