Business Analyst

The Business Analyst is the vital link between information technology capacity and the business objectives. The candidate should have in-depth experience of completing detailed business process analysis and requirement gathering to enable the delivery of complex software development projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements along with reporting and alerting requirements
• Understanding, designing, documenting and maintaining business processes and workflows and their relationships to current and future software solutions
• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
• Assisting business users, project managers and leadership in optimizing the scope, benefits and risks
• Support development teams to ensure a solution meets its business requirements
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
• Read and interpret documentation such as requirements definitions, installation instructions, technical articles and procedure manuals
• Ensure all documents are reviewed, clarified, organized, and conformed to organizational standards

Required Skills:

• University level degree (or higher education institute) in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study
• Expected to have 5+ years’ experience in Business / IT Systems Analysis
• Proven record in gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into IT business solutions
• Knowledge and experience in the Insurance industry will be considered an asset
• Certification in Business Analysis will also be highly appreciated
• Ability to function in an agile development environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills in English
