- Operate industrial washers, dryers, and finishing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Follow proper procedures for washing, drying, ironing, and sanitizing a variety of fabrics, such as linens, towels, uniforms, and curtains.
- Understand and apply the correct use of detergents, bleaches, and other cleaning agents based on fabric type and condition to prevent damage.
- Ensure all items meet high cleanliness and presentation standards before redistribution.
- Manage inventory of detergents and other cleaning materials.
- Ensure laundry area cleanliness and implement hygiene and safety protocols.
- Assist during peak operational periods and work flexible shifts as required.
- Cooperate with other departments (Housekeeping, F&B, Management) to ensure timely linen availability and quality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by hotel operations.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a luxury hotel.
- Solid understanding of laundry procedures and textile care for various fabric types.
- Ability to safely handle and maintain laundry equipment.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety standards in laundry operations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays during high-demand periods.
- Team spirit and ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
- Good command of Greek or English.
