Position Description: Hotel Operations Manager
Scope of Responsibility: The management and administration of the hotel property, with primary responsibilities including:
- Oversight of the operation of the food and beverage departments.
- Oversight of the floor and room department.
- Achieving qualitative and financial objectives to increase revenue.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Development, monitoring, and ensuring the proper functioning of departments.
- Managing operational functions, ensuring compliance with legal, health, and environmental procedures, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Cost management within the approved budgets set by management.
- Initiating and developing strategic processes (production procedures, cost control, safety and hygiene, procurement, maintenance).
- Evaluating and assigning responsibilities to subordinates based on their skills and abilities.
Qualifications/ Skills Required:
- Previous experience in a similar position in 4 or 5-star hotels in Greece or abroad.
- Excellent skills of the English language and proficient in at least one other foreign language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, positive attitude with a willingness to contribute, knowledge, and proper guidance of the team.
- Experience in hotel pre-opening preparations, staff training, and adherence to management protocols.
- Experience in implementing hygiene and safety policies (ISO certification will be considered an additional qualification).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), as well as a very good understanding of hotel management software.
